Installation of Solar Panels and Wind Turbines at the Greater Rochester International Airport
This project is currently underway and will be completed in mid-2010. The expectation is that the wind turbines will generate 60,000 kilowatt hours of
energy annually. A grant from New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, an incentive award from the New York State Solar-Electric Incentive
Program and other available energy incentive awards, paid for a significant portion of the project.
